MY STORY

When I was young, I had one big dream: to become an interior designer and create my own line of home goods. I went to college, but instead of studying design, I chose sculpture — it felt more attainable at the time. I built mirrors, table sets, and more, always drawn to the tangible beauty of functional art.

Eventually, I left my small hometown in search of more opportunity, warmer weather, and maybe, a deeper sense of who I was. That search led me through a winding path of careers — including handcrafting copper and brass light fixtures — and a variety of personal seasons.

But eventually, I found my way back to interior design. I earned my master’s degree… and then realized something unexpected: the traditional design path wasn’t actually for me.

Wait, what? I know.

I had started a family and became a stay-at-home mom. Somewhere in the midst of raising kids and running a home, I started to lose sight of my big dreams — and honestly, of myself. I hit a breaking point. And that’s when I said, enough.

That’s when I stepped into project management, leading high-end home builds and reconstruction jobs. I set a new goal: get my builder’s license. At first, the motivation was shallow — maybe even ego-driven — but once I achieved it, everything clicked into place. All the experiences, all the pivots, all the skills — they came full circle.

I realized I was never meant to fit inside one box. I was meant to be in all the rooms — and break down the walls.

Through deep healing, self-reflection, and growth, I finally rediscovered who I am and what I stand for. And in doing so, I found myself back at the moment I set that childhood dream… only now, I could show that little girl something even bigger.
